Summary: Persuasive and inspiring
Comment: This book was given to me, as I have been contemplating where to send my preschooler to kindergarten. It is a very compelling case for classical education. Classical education, I believe, is the answer to the education crisis in the USA, and would cost no more (if not less) than the system currently in place. It is not simply back-to-basics, it is a comprehensive, intensely rigorous curriculum which teaches children to actually think and reason and learn to love truth and beauty. Who could want more for their children? Who would want less? Needless to say, I'm sold.
